NASA Scientist Begins Search for Meteorite Fall in California 8MAY09

NASA searches for meteor fragments
WALLACE - Ranchers and other property owners in western Calaveras County and eastern San Joaquin County may soon be getting calls from Marc Fries, a NASA scientist.

WE REALLY NEED MORE EYE-WITNESSES TO THIS FIREBALL TO COME FORWARD!

If you witnessed this fireball from the greater Stockton Area and you saw it travel to the EAST and/or NORTHEAST, then for sure, you should contact Dr. Fries at the email or phone number in the above article.

BUT, if you saw the fireball to the SOUTHEAST, then I would really like to talk to you about what you saw, and in what direction you last saw the meteor end its flight. Please contact me at (818)599-5071 or email at

in Indonesia in a week there were already two times the incident meteorite falls and burns the house

Hi im from merced ca and I know I witnessed a meteorite 3-4 days ago! It wa verly large ..reddish orange white and very bright I know what I seen!
